Beginning as a corporate trainer with Mack Trucks Incorporated, Sean has dedicated his career to technical education. Subsequently, as Program Coordinator of the Truck and Heavy Equipment Department at Toronto’s Centennial College, Sean redesigned the curriculum to meet performance-based learning objectives. It was during his tenure at Centennial College that he began publishing technical textbooks.  From the beginning of his teaching career, Sean understood that liaisons with industry were key to successful technical education. This resulted in him initiating corporate training and apprenticeship alliances between Centennial College and companies that included Freightliner, Mack Trucks, Cummins, Navistar International, and Volvo Trucks.

Sean left Centennial College in 2008 to focus on writing, curriculum design, and speaking engagements. To date he has authored over 50 textbooks (including revisions) with five publishers. He continues to be passionate about technical education and student success. His work supports students, technicians, educators, and fleet managers, across the globe.
